Synopsis

A true story that is about faith and believing in whatever it is that you believe in. A phenomenal story about God and his power. A trip to the 69th Academy Awards (Oscars) and Governor´s Ball is granted to a gentleman that prays and asks God to grant his wish to attend the event. God grants his wish. Travel with this ticket-less faith believer as this miracle takes place in a cinderella-like series of events.

Dee Thompson is an actor and filmmaker. He started his career in Theatre on the stage at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to his acting career, he served in the U.S. Navy. While serving his country he was command advanced twice and nominated as the Sailor of the Year. He was cast as the head-umpire in the hit baseball film Major League:Back to the Minors starring Scott Bakalla and followed that with the Movie of the Week film Miracle in the Woods, starring Della Reese. These were his first film and television speaking roles. Dee wrote, directed, acted and produced his first film titled Barbed Wire. The film was accepted and premiered on his first submission to the 2006 Spaghetti Junction Urban Film Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. His unique gift of bringing people together has been helpful in producing his film, documentary and television projects. He currently is co-producing the feature film Black Wings, a story about African-American aviators of the 1920's. He always gives his time to the community and volunteer through organizations like the PTA, Special Olympics, Screen Actors Guild Bookpals Reading Program, Brotherhood Crusade Organization, American Legion, Masons and numerous other non-profit groups. Dee currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he continues to act, write and produce his projects.
