She earned a BA in journalism from Texas A&M University and received the “Best Aggie-Life writer” award from the university newspaper. She has more than seventeen years of national experience in public relations and journalism and is currently a PR consultant and blogger in Barrington, Rhode Island. She serves on the Steering Committee for Dress for Success Rhode Island, volunteers at her kids’ schools, and enjoys networking with women and venting with other moms every chance she gets: at the monkey bars, book groups, in line at the grocery store, and during those treasured girls’ nights.
