Before becoming a full-time consultant, she gained more than thirty-five years of experience in public library management, most recently as Deputy Director of Portland's Multnomah County Library. She is coauthor of Staffing for Results. Paule M. Singer, PhD, with more than twenty years of experience as consultant, is currently the principal consultant of The Singer Group, Inc., specializing in compensation, leadership and human resources development, strategies planning, succession planning, and organization design.
