When a 16 year old, small town girl, Christine Matthews, from Dryden, Michigan gets a shot at playing semi- professional hockey on a boys hockey team she jumps at the opportunity. Follow her ups and downs as she tackles some of lives hardships, surprises, and victories as she reaches out to catch her dreams. Journey with her as she struggles through some of life's tough situations, as well as love and loss. Her story is inspirational to people every where who feel their dreams are unreachable. Christine wants one thing in her life, hockey. Nothing would ever mean more to her than that. She had worked so hard for it without the support of her friends and family. When she meets Alex her world starts to change. Why was she so enticed by this boy. She had to stop thinking about how gorgeous he was. He would be running for the exits as soon as he found out what she was doing there. She noticed that her palms were starting to sweat, she wiped them on her jeans, before he noticed. She wanted to hate him. She couldn't have these type of distractions around her. She needed to be focused on the prize. Then there was Moose. What would she do without him? This couldn't be happening right now, not to her. She still had her stalker to deal with. The hatred he had for her, in those deep black coal eyes. Was her life about to spiral out of control?

Kelli (Kiki) Sullivan was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. She has traveled the globe extensively and lived abroad for some time. She enjoys the outdoors and all sports, her favorite being hockey. She is a history and war buff, and loves to work on genealogy in her spare time. She started working in television when she was only 16 years old, where she was the recipient of several television production awards, and since then held a variety of positions in various fields. As a child Kelli Sullivan dreamed of being two things. The first was a professional hockey player, And The second was a hobo. When asked why a hobo? Kelli Sullivan responded with "when I was a kid I loved the Canadian television show called " the Littlest Hobo". it was about a dog, that wandered around the country helping people in need. I always thought it would be interesting to just wander around experiencing life. I suppose I have taken that show literally". Kelli Sullivan considers herself a lost soul. She doesn't like to stay in one place or one profession for to long, she feels the need to experience all that life has to offer and tends to move on after a position has lost it's challenge for her. After years of extensive traveling and career changing she decided to start writing For The fun of it. Her first novel "Ice in My Veins"is an inspirational novel for anyone who is afraid to chase their dreams. "Rocket To The Moon"is a children's story about using your imagination. She is also a published Poet and won an editor's choice award for her poem "Caves".
