Synopsis

"In Honored Glory" is a fiery novel about the Spanish American War and follows General Joseph Murchison, first introduced to Vaughan's readers in Yesterday's Reveille, and again in Adobe Walls, and his son, Lieutenant Todd Murchison. Todd is assigned as one of the white officers to the Buffalo Soldiers; he and his soldiers join the Roughriders for the triumphant attack up San Juan Hill. In this battle, prejudices are temporarily set aside, as black and white American soldiers fight as brothers.
