But Nicolo Tarentino is not most men. Nic has sworn to avenge his fiancé Carissa's death, murdered on the night of their bachelor and bachelorette parties one year previously, at the very spot where he discovers the kidnapped women, including Stephanie Campanelli, in the middle of gangland. The perpetrator of the crime has been thwarted, and wants to finish the task begun with the kidnapping and murder of one. It is up to Nic to solve the crime before the kidnapper/murderer can finish the job. In the process Nic may lose his heart to a beautiful, stubborn woman who fights to keep her independence as Nic fights to keep control of his emotions and his goals. The search and struggle for answers begins..
