From an elderly man caught with a hooker, to a daughter outsmarting the IRS, the characters in Nick Healy’s It Takes You Over are entertaining and fun inside stories about rough relationships and the insular lifestyle of small towns. Stereotypes are expanded as Healy proves that “Minnesota Nice” isn’t all that the state contains.
