About the author Rojay Moore   Rojay Moore is the author of 5 previously released books titled, Prescriptions for Musical Development, Teens’ Formula for Success, Straight Talk to the Brothers, Setting the Standards and most recently Young People STRUGGLE Too!   Rojay Moore graduated from high school in May of 2000, continuing his education at Dillard University in New Orleans and the University of New Orleans from which he graduated in December of 2004, earning his Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Jazz Studies and Performance.   At the time of this writing, he is band director of Ridgeroad Middle Charter School in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  His band has performed in various musical performances and settings.  They recently held and participated in the school district’s first “Battle of the Bands” under his leadership.   The band at Ridgeroad was awarded for the Most Creative Use of Volunteers for the “Exploring the Sounds of Music” and “Battle of the Bands” performances in the 2006-2007 school year.   Rojay Moore was also awarded the North Little Rock School District’s PTA Council Classified Employee of the Year in February of 2007.   Along with these accomplishments, Rojay Moore has been led of God with vision to establish an organization for males called, Serious Young Brothers.  This is a timely, relevant, mentoring organization that teaches from a spiritual and Biblical perspective.   The vision of Serious Young Brothers (SYB) is to “Raise up and develop serious young brothers for Christ with no shame!”  SYB’s mission is to go out inspiring, empowering, instructing and educating young brothers on the ways of life and how to be real men.   Rojay Moore’s motto: Being positively inspired in a negatively influenced world!
