Jacob has the strength and charismatic charm to be a leader, and has been reared his entire life to be his father's successor. His ancestral line has built an empire of power, corruption and evil, but Jacob rebels and defies what should be his destiny throughout his life. He struggles with his own demons, and questions the purity or damnation of his soul--and of his bloodline.

On his journey, Jacob reconnects and falls in love with a young woman from his past that validates everything he wants to believe of himself. From his inner strength, and faith in something he had no belief of before, he becomes more powerful than his father had ever anticipated.

L.M. Faircloth writes fiction based on real life issues and tragedies of the heart and soul, with a thread to personal life experiences of her own. She strives to have her readers immerse themselves in her stories and connect with the characters, finding them relatable and compelling. "Jacob's Soul" does exactly this, pulling one in with a heart wrenching, sometimes frightening, intriguing story of a battle between good and evil. Born and raised in Baltimore Maryland, L. M. enlisted in the US Air Force following high school. She has been very fortunate to travel to many different locations around the world, and also back and forth across this country several times. L.M. has always been proud of her time served in the military, and cherishes the many memories and friendships made. This has given her a unique worldly perception of people and places that she draws on in writing, creating realistic environments and strong characters. Currently, L. M. Faircloth lives close to her daughter and family in south-central PA, and is working on her second novel, "It Was About the War", a Vietnam story. She writes this story from the perspective of several service members living through and surviving a war that changes them for life. The friendships forged are strong and the losses are overwhelming, as they see one another at their worst, and at their very best. L. M. plans to have this novel released this coming winter.
