Synopsis

The Rise of the Sixth Sun Volume 3

Sam Leo, an epidemiologist in North Carolina, is researching what he believes are patterns that suggest a new and lethal disease, and at the same time trying to conduct an affair with a seductive and mysterious woman from Mexico without his wife Cheryl learning of his indiscretion. Meanwhile, his friend medical examiner Stephanie Dixon had purchased a kaleidoscope that seems to have magical—and intensely sexual—properties.
When Sam and Cheryl, along with Stephanie and her husband and another couple vacation together on the North Carolina coast, the full and terrifying power of the kaleidoscope—and some hints as to its origin—are revealed, and not all of them will survive the revelation…
