The Inner Work Journey is an account of how, with persistence and hard work and by practicing the principles of inner work, Dr. Nidia pulled herself out of the bowels of hell. As the victim of child abuse, domestic violence, drug and alcohol dependency, and ultimately, recovery Dr. Nidia did what everyone believed was impossible, she went back to school. Today, Dr. Nidia Enid Collado holds a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Addictions Studies. She received her Ph.D. from Union Institute & University. She is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern and received her Master’s from Barry University. Dr. Collado is a Certified Addictions Professional for the State of Florida and is on the Addiction Subcommittee for the Florida Certification Board. She is a Faculty Member at Union Institute & University. Dr. Collado is also a Rapid Trauma Resolution Practitioner, Neurofeedback Practitioner, Reiki Master, Healing Touch Practitioner, Master Hypnotherapist, Certified Neuro-Linguistic Program Practitioner.
