Synopsis

In the 10th novel in this acclaimed mystery series, disabled Florida P.I. Fred Carver takes on one of the most personally painful cases of his career. When his lover Beth is injured in a bomb blast that kills two workers at an abortion clinic, Carver must try, despite his anguish, to discover whether the bomb was the work of a religious zealot--or the result of a very deadly and personal grudge.
