Synopsis

Claire Burton is at the top of her game. She's just solved a murder and is back with her fiancé, Don Snyder. Soon Claire is asked to find out whether one of the town's leading citizens committed suicide or was murdered. Her quest for the answer to this question leads her into the dark world of counterfeit drugs. Claire and Don are also making wedding plans, but thanks to interfering-though well meaning-relatives, might not make it to the altar. This time, Claire has made a powerful enemy in her search for the answer to a mystery-an enemy who may want her dead. It's not often that a pharmacist takes up the pen, but Evelyn Geisler has done just that. In addition to owning her own pharmacy and completing her certification as a diabetes educator, Geisler has written health columns for her local newspaper and published articles in Grit magazine. Local Boy Makes Dead is the second in the Claire Burton series of mysteries.
