“My name is Roger Wall. I’m an assistant professor at Concord College. Here’s what happens. First, one of my students disappears, and it falls on me to find him. Then some other people disappear, and then it all turns out to be part of a big secret project that could change the way the world operates, and I’m involved. That’s the general idea.”

Dan Brown meets J.D. Salinger meets Raymond Chandler in this new action-adventure novel, Lord Roger’s Continent (known in translation as “Run For It!”), when the search for a missing student leads assistant professor Roger Wall from his new teaching position at Concord College to London, England and back, aided by his former band mates from New York City and a cast of other characters. Along the way, matters of science and nature are discussed, all in an effort to get to the meaning of things while trying to catch the bad guys.

It’s got action, adventure, science, romance (sort of), some literary value (probably), humor, travel, music – what more could you ask for?

This is Robert S. Mathews’ first (and only) novel.
