Writing this book was the most difficult thing I have ever had to do in my entire life. Reliving every single moment of what she went through was almost unbearable. Through her death, Kristin taught me everything I needed to learn about life. I have made a lot of bad decisions from time to time, but none of them hurt more than the one that took my daughter's life. I use the strength Kristin gave me each and every day to put my feet on the floor. Her ability to make the very best of every situation is what pushes me closer to God. I will use everything she has taught me each and every day for the rest of my life so that one day I will get the chance to hold her again and tell her exactly how much I love her.At first this book was from me to her; a way for me to show Kristin how much I care. I plan to keep my daughter's legacy going and to pick up where she left off.Kristin gave us so many gifts while she was here. Forgetting or not using them would be a waste.
