Confer is Senior Associate of Reality Therapy Associates of Central Pennsylvania. He has held clinical and administrative social work positions in the fields of child welfare, mental health, family and individual counseling and education/training since 1964. Mr. Confer is a graduate of Bucknell University, Philadelphia Lutheran Theological Seminary and the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Social Work. He is a member of the William Glasser Institute, the National Assocciation of Social Workers and the International Foster Care Organization. Mr. Confer has trained social workers, foster carers and business professionals from the Komi Republic of Russia, through Europe and the Americas, to Honolulu in the Pacific.
