Synopsis

Dr. Laura Grant is a respected scientist with a big secret, but her future studying the hyenas of Kenya hangs in the balance. Only a favorable article from the handsome reporter Ben Barnes can save it, but what will happen when the Laura finds she can't stand the man's arrogance? Will she be able to control the wild emotions the man brings out in her? More importantly, will the beautiful were-hyena succumb to the animal instincts of the beast inside?

This 10,000 word erotic romance is filled with exotic landscapes, wild animals, a man learning the pleasures of being taken by a woman, and the uncontrollable urges of a ravishing she-beast.

EXCERPT:

"Dr. Grant? What are you doing?" Ben asked, looking up at me. I could see him clearly in the light of the moon, a hand raised up as if to fend me off. He was almost adorable in a pathetic way, and I had to admit he was looking better than ever. Without the dumb sunglasses glued to his face, I could see his bright green eyes. They were a nice compliment to his straight nose and strong jaw line. I particularly liked the fashionable stubble covering his chin.

"Just admiring the view," I answered. A low growl rumbled deep in my throat as I looked him over. I could feel s that delicious mix of righteous anger and wild lust poured through my veins. This was going to be a night to remember. I reached out, smiling as he flinched away, and took his face in my hand. I turned him toward me, and he moaned in surprise as my lips crashed against his.

I could feel the confused reporter tense up before slowly relaxing into the kiss. I ran my tongue over his lips and plunged into his mouth, tasting alcohol and a hint of coffee on him. His hands came up and circled my waist as he tried to sit up, apparently gaining confidence as his tongue danced with mine. I put my hands on his shoulders and pinned him roughly to the ground. He looked up at me, confused, but no longer afraid. Nearby, I could hear the clans panting quietly in anticipation.

"Can't say I expected that," Ben said, a grin spreading over his cute, annoyingly arrogant face, "but can't say I mind, either."

"Shut up," I growled, kissing him roughly. He tried to slide his hands up my sides again, but I swatted them away. This was my show. I sucked and bit his lower lip as my hands found and started scrabbling at his belt buckle. He quickly got the message, and lifted his hips obediently as I pushed his tight hipster jeans down his legs. I leaned back and took him in, saying, "Mmm, very nice."
