The firm specializes in the application of economics and finance to litigated matters. In such works Gaughan is often called upon to serve as an expert witness and measure damages in lawsuits as well as value businesses. In addition, he provides various consulting services in the field of mergers and acquisitions. Specifically, he serves as an expert in litigated matters involving mergers and acquisitions. Gaughan also conducts seminars on various topics in the M&A field. Gaughan holds a Ph.D. in economics and is a graduate level professor of economics and finance at the College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. He is the author of four books.
