Molly Zander is the best basketball player in the third grade. But while she's goofing off during a fire drill, her hook shot goes astray and knocks off the principal's toupee. Now all the basketball skills in the world won't get her out of trouble. Especially when Florence, the new girl, tattles on her! Molly's determined to find out why Florence would tell on her, but first, she's got to get out of this mess!

Suzy Kline was born August 27, 1943 in Berkeley, California. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in European History. She was an elementary school teacher for over 25 years before retiring. While teaching, she wrote over thirty books for children. Her most well-known works include titles in the Horrible Harry, Herbie Jones and Song Lee series. Ms. Kline now writes full-time and travels to schools and libraries and speak about writing. Diana Cain Bluthenthal is the author and illustrator of "Matilda the Moocher" and "I'm Not Invited?, " and the illustrator of a dozen other books for children. She lives with her husband. two young sons, and pets (including two worms) in North Carolina.
