Synopsis

Ex-mental patient and cab driver Scott Moody, recently suspected of a murder in Spokane, is recovering in a Spokane suburb by dating the daughter of the town's wealthiest citizen. This unexpected good fortune makes him as uneasy as it make him happy--the universe may be planning a trap. Moody finds his obsessive thoughts about mortality all too relevant as he heads to Palm Springs to investigate the owners of an office building shaped like a pyramid and occupied by a company by the name of The Longevity Institute of the Desert.
