Synopsis

A little star longs to visit earth and explore the oceans he sees from the sky. One night, the loving moon grants his wish, turning him into a sea star and dropping him gently into the ocean. Years pass, and when the sea star has learned all he can about the world, he is ready to return to the sky. The lyrical text carries readers along on a haunting journey of discovery enlivened by bright illustrations.
