Marian Wasilewski was born and raised a Catholic, but in his middle years, having rejected religious dogmas and the materialistic worldview, he had a brush with clinical death. After experiences connected with a surgical operation, he underwent inner changes. Initially fearing for his sanity, he immersed himself in reading philosophy, psychology, and psychiatry. Then he practiced yoga. Feeling the disappointment of his own intuition, he reached for ''top-of-the-shelf'' knowledge.
In My Way to the Higher Self, he relates these experiences, providing substantial worldview inscription in an accessibly written, sometimes humorous manner. By offering an in-depth analysis of consciousness, he tells of his own journey and encourages readers to take a deeper look themselves.
