Garth Meaney is a restorer and collector of antiques and antiquities when he's not writing. He lives on the beautiful West coast of Wales UK with his wife and extended family"Handling objects from the past is deeply fascinating. I acquired an arrow head found in a field where Julius Caesar fought and won the battle of Belgae in 57bc. Nine years later he was being enchanted by Cleopatra in Egypt. Inspired by these two facts I indulged my enduring passion for Egyptian culture and wrote Nile God. Mixing research with narrative and storyline has been a real pleasure."Nile God is set in a much earlier period in Egyptian history.
