Two brothers, Caffrey and Mel, once inseparable, now irreconcilable, brawl and bumble over the most beautiful woman in town. What they don’t know is that Nuala Macree is a ferocious eco-activist with her sights on a corporation trying to buy up the rights to her beloved town’s pristine spring water.  The two battles lead the brothers to sense, manhood and hospital, and Nuala into an ambiguous and self-destructive world of impossible resentments.
