Billyleuna a.k.a. “Billy” and her best friend Mike have been friends for many years. They did everything together, from double dating to taking walks, to talking on the phone to going to many dinners together. Then one day, their relationship takes a different turn . . . When Billy’s parents suddenly die in a car accident, she is devastated and turns to Mike for comfort. Unbeknownst to her, Mike is deeply in love with Billy but is afraid to confess for she might not return his feelings. In a drunken stupor, she attempts to seduce Mike, but he refuses to take advantage of her in her vulnerable state. The next morning, Billy leaves the house alone, is attacked, and injured seriously. Having almost lost her, Mike finally confesses. Written as a play, Nightmare in Paradise is based on the mostly author’s life interwoven with some fictional parts. A vividly graphic read, it contains violence, sex, and language that are not suitable for ages under eighteen years old.
