John A. Pojman is a Professor in the Macromolecular Science Division of the Department of Chemistry at Louisiana State University. He earned his doctorate in Chemical Physics in 1988 at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Pojman was a faculty member at The University of Southern Mississippi for eighteen years. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed publications and co-edited two monographs. His interests include nonlinear dynamics with polymers, cure-on demand polymerization, nonequilibrium thermodynamics of miscible fluids and the aquatic salamanders of Louisiana. He also claims the world’s largest collection of pocket protectors.Qui Tran-Cong-Miyata was born in Saigon, South Viet-Nam and is currently  a Professor at Department of Macromolecular Science & Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kyoto Institute of Technology, Kyoto, Japan. He obtained his Doctor of Engineering in Polymer Chemistry uder the guidance of Professor Yasunori Nishijima in 1982 from Kyoto University, Japan. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and review articles. He also edited three monographs in the field of polymer materials science and nonlinear science. His research interests include critical phenomena, self-ordering in reacting polymeric systems and their practical implications.
