...[a] tense thriller, a story that propels readers into the dark world of a troubled loser who finds that the best way to get ahead is to kill the people who get in his way.

Synopsis

"Matt Toliver, a real estate agent who had fallen in love with the lovely Krystal Love Loftis, a ravishing beauty and married housewife seeking a house on Lake Murray for her family, had obligingly agreed to show her a lake view of the property that interested her.

Admitting she knew little about the lake, matt rode her around in the cabin cruiser and showed her several of the lake’s features, including the popular Osprey birds that migrate here in the spring.
After anchoring the boat in a cove and offering her a glass of wine, she asked where they were. Using the small rural town of Prosperity as a reference point. Matt told her that from where they were, the Osprey they were observing in his nest ‘would fly north to Prosperity.”
While making love, a professional bass fisherman look through the window of the cruiser and recognized the nude girl as his classmate. He boarded the vessel. As he entered the door of the cabin, Matt pulled a .32 calibre pistol from between the mattress and accidentally shot the bass pro. They buried him in 150feet of water. Krystal goes berserk. He kills her to protect himself. He buries his body in a well at an abandoned house in the other end of the county.
The fast moving action, which eventually connects Toliver with the widow of the bass fishing pro, offers strong appeal to women readers. It has enough fast moving action to lure man.
