This book starts exactly where the second book ended. The soul has collapsed. When she awakens, she asks the first angel to take her to see her earth child. The lord angel had planned to return her to heaven; but, if she wished to see her child first, the lord could not deny her. But, the soul is not acting right. Darkness still surrounds her. The lord takes her to a hospice on earth where the soul can rest. During her recovery, the lord first angel will seek out her earth child and reunite them. He gives the soul his word. He will find her child. The lord is not prepared for earth, for humans. He had always avoided any contact with these primitive slime creatures. But, since he had destroyed the first ones, earthlings were his only option. He needed to depend on them to help cure the first soul. He took her to a place called the "Mount," a state of the art hospital with the finest reputation. This was the pinnacle of human technology. Earthlings were approaching the greatness of the first ones. It turns out these sentient apes were now his only alternative to making her whole again.
