She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Tulane University and has worked in healthcare marketing, consulting, coaching, and leadership development, as well as with children in social service organizations. A former board member of The Humane Society and an active animal welfare volunteer, Fontaine believes in adopting animals and living in harmony with them.
