Maureen Child is a native Southern Californian who is still waiting for evidence that autumn actually exists. She's written 40 books since making her first sale in 1990, and is as excited about writing today as she was then. When she's not writing, Maureen and her husband like to travel, and usually drag her parents along for the ride. There's nothing quite like a road trip with three people reading different maps and shouting instructions to the poor driver, Maureen's long-suffering husband. But all that traveling gives her a lot of research material for more books. When she's at home, Maureen rides herd on a busy house filled with two grown children, their assorted friends, and the world's most confused golden retriever, Abbey. Abbey, unfortunately, is afraid of the wind. She knows something is out there, but she can't see it, and refuses to leave the shelter of the house alone on windy days. So look for Maureen on cold, windy nights. She'll be in the backyard, holding Abbey's paw.Maureen loves to hear from fans. You can write her at: Maureen Child, P.O. Box 1883, Westminster, CA 92684-1883. Jennifer Lewis has been dreaming up stories for as long as she can remember, and is thrilled to be able to share them with readers. Born in Manhattan, she grew up in London, England, reading fairy tales and "fixing" the endings of popular stories in her mind. She returned to the States for college, and enjoyed a career as a curator at a New York television museum before she grew bold enough to put pen to paper and write down the stories crowding her imagination. She recently moved back across the Atlantic to a picturesque rural area outside London, where she lives with her husband and children. She loves writing passionate tales for Silhouette Desire and you can visit her on the Web at Bestselling author Catherine Mann writes contemporary military romances, a natural fit since she's married to her very own USAF research source. Prior to publication, Catherine graduated with a B.A. in Fine Arts: Theater from the College of Charleston, and received her master's degree in Theater from UNC Greensboro. Now a RITA© Award winner, Catherine finds following her aviator husband around the world with four children, a beagle and a tabby in tow offers her endless inspiration for new plots. Learn more about her work, as well as her adventures in military life, by visiting her web site: Katherine enjoys the writing process too much to give it up and can't think of anything she'd rather do, except maybe take Jim Lipton's job on Inside the Actor's Studio. Each book is a chance to explore another facet of human behavior, and she's always most excited about the newest project she's working on. Writing for Silhouette Desire has been a dream come true for her in many ways! She is married to the man she met in Fantasyland, and they live in central Florida with their two children.Writers can contact her at One Christmas long ago, Robyn Grady received a book from her big sister and immediately fell in love with Cinderella. Sprinklings of magic, deepest wishes come true--she was hooked! Picture books with glass slippers later gave way to romance novels. When she was older, she wanted to write one.In junior high, however, Robyn hit a stumbling block--a disheartening grade of one out of ten for a book review. Confused and hurt, she asked her one-hundred-and-thirty-year-old English teacher why she received such a low mark. The wizened schoolmarm sniffed, "You obviously had a senior do it for you." Thankfully Robyn's business teacher was a honey.Following a fifteen-year career behind the scenes in television, Robyn knew the time was right to pursue her dream of becoming a published author. With thirteen contest finals in 2006, she was taken on by a New York agent and sold in a matter of weeks, first to Silhouette Desire, then Modern Heat (Presents) with a two book deal. She is currently writing her fifth manuscript and looking forward to her first online read appearing on eHarlequin, her favorite cyber place to hang out.Robyn lives with her own modern-day hero on Australia's Sunshine Coast with their three little princesses, as well as two poodles and a cat called Tinkie. She has majors in English literature and psychology and loves new shoes, worn jeans, visits to the theatre and lunches at picturesque Moffat Beach with her writer friends.Visit her Web site and don't forget to say hi! She'd love to hear from you. Storytelling has always been a part of Charlene Sands's life. As a young girl, she remembers sitting with her father in the evenings asking him to tell her a story. His imagination and flare for the dramatic always entertained and had her coming back for more. Later she began reading his written word; journals and romantic poetry that he'd penned for the family, and those words inspired her to take the writing plunge.Charlene has always read romance--grand adventures where the hero and heroine traversed rugged ground, beating insurmountable odds to finally find the path to true love. Books filled her life, and her list of favorite authors kept growing. When she finally mustered the courage to face the computer head-on and write, she felt an immediate kinship to those talented authors. Since she fell in love and married her high school sweetheart, she is definitely a romance author who believes in happy endings and writes love stories that warm the heart. She began her writing journey in 1995 and sold her first novel in 1998, appropriately named Chance in a Million. To date, she has sold sixteen books and counting, writing both Silhouette Desire and Harlequin Historical novels. Presently, she heads the Ask an Author program for the Orange County Chapter of RWA where she is proudly an active member.
