"‘One Of A Kind’ is about amazing success and overcoming the difficult times of being orphaned, twice, and coming through ! Not the sort of success of being a millionaire or a famous actor or politician, though I have to say there is nothing to stop any of us being one of these if we so choose. I mean the success of coming through life’s incredible events and on looking back realizing that, with a basis of absolute faith, what a truly amazing experience it has been.

One Of A Kind will take you through an emotional roller coaster from my early childhood having to deal with life and death several times over, of being thrust into an English boarding school with hilarious results, of life in London in the swinging sixties; the music and the London fashion scene and my part in those fantastic changing times and moving on to a career as an engineer that took incredible twists and turns.

Through this backdrop I learned to take the risk, take a chance and just go ahead without fear. I became an entrepreneur, starting up and owning successful businesses in London and the USA and rose to the top of my profession with surprising results. I have a close family in England and the USA and through it all they have stuck by me looking at me as both a father and a mentor which is as it should be.

The question to ask ourselves is this; “If you could change anything in your life what would you change” fifteen hundred retirees were asked that question and most answered very honestly, “I wish I had taken more risks.” How sad that would be to realize that when it’s too late to do anything about it.

That will never be me and hopefully it may never be you, as we can all be, if we choose to be, One of A Kind."
