Beyond Ontariese, Book Two: Trey dar Aune's routine rescue mission to Earth becomes incredibly complicated when he discovers Dr. Hydran is genetically engineering captive Ontarians to maximize their Mystic abilities.

Krysta despises Dr. Hydran and anyone associated with him. Still, her desire flares right along with her temper when she encounters Trey, Hydran's enigmatic new customer. How can this gorgeous stranger mean her harm when everything within her cries out for his touch and the comfort of his embrace? Her prophetic dreams promise freedom from Dr. Hydran's tyranny but first she must determine if Trey is ally or enemy.

Note to Readers: This book contains detailed descriptions of sizzling passion only suitable for mature readers.

From Cyndi: As with Taken by Storm, this book doesn't fit neatly into one genre. It is part paranormal romance, part action/adventure saga, and part space opera. With strong scifi and paranormal elements, it would have been easy for the characters to get lost in the bells and whistles. Instead I tried hard to stay focused on emotional challenges and the developing romance. Krysta is feisty and strong willed, but she would do anything to protect her sister and the other captives of Operation Hydra. Though Trey has no mystic abilities, his courage and inner strength are the perfect counterpoint to Krysta's volatility. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone, but connecting plot threads and common characters make the experience richer if they are read in order. Enjoy!
