Palestine, The Forgotten Area by Dr. Homayun Ahmadi

One of the world's major problems today is the resolution of the problem in Palestine. This problem has reached such a magnitude because of the shockwaves that followed the formation of Israel in Palestine in 1948 at the behest of major world powers. If the process of forming Israel had come about through more open and peaceful negotiation, then the result would have been more equable and much less traumatic. The time has come for a solution to be found, most likely through genuine, serious, and peaceful international intervention. It is foolish to expect that this conflict will go away by itself, and this book is an attempt to find a more equitable path to a solution. About the Author Dr. Homayun Ahmadi is a medical doctor. He was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, an area that has been ravaged by the trauma of warfare. He practiced in both Afghanistan and Pakistan before arriving in Australia in July 2003. Dr. Ahmadi's work is focused on helping those with the greatest needs. Over the years, he has been a member of the Afghan Human Rights Organisation, the Rural Development of Maihen (RDM) Organisation, and the Drug Awareness Program for Afghan Refugees. He is the author of some twenty books in many languages on topics ranging from health and sports to religion and social issues.
