Born in 1963, Bernard Cohen is the author of several novels for adults. In 1997, 1998 and 1999 Bernard was named as one of the Sydney Morning Herald's Best Young Australian Novelists. Paul Needs Specs is Bernard's first children's picture book, and is based on the author's personal experience of needing glasses as a child. Geoff Kelly has been a freelance illustrator in graphic design, advertising, and marketing for more than 20 years. He is the author of several books, including Stuck with Baby and Very Very Odd, and is the coauthor of Paul Needs Specs and Power and Glory.
