Lauraine Snelling began her career in writing in 1982 with Tragedy on the Toutle. She won two awards: the Silver Angel award for An Untamed Land and the Romance Writers of American Golden Heart for Song of Laughter. Lauraine is married and has 3 children. She currently resides in Tehachapi, CA. Kathleen Wright was "Mrs. Write" to her Christian homeschoolers, ages 10 to 17, whom she taught for many years. When she's not dreaming up adventures for her characters, she's riding bikes with her husband, playing pickle ball, and trying to convince her rescued Border Collie that Mom knows best.
