Another very good book in this series by Joanna Wylde! Maybe it’s my obsession with Sons of Anarchy, but I love it when a MC book is good. This one has it all: badass bikers, women in dangerous situations, mayhem and some pretty hot scenes. Yes, exactly what I needed!

Synopsis

As Reapers Motorcycle Club president, Reese "Picnic" Hayes has
given his entire life to the club. After losing his wife, he knew he'd
never love another woman. And with two daughters to raise and a
club to manage, that was just fine with him. These days, Reese keeps his
relationships free and easy--he definitely doesn't want to waste his
time on a glorified cleaning lady like London Armstrong

Too bad he's completely obsessed with her.

Besides running her own business, London's got her junkie cousin's
daughter to look after--a more reckless than average eighteen-year-old.
Sure she's attracted to the Reapers' president, but she's not stupid.
Reese Hayes is a criminal and a thug. But when her young cousin gets
caught up with a ruthless drug cartel, Reese might be the only man who
can help her. Now London has to make the hardest decision of her
life--how far will she go to save her family?

Here's how it is, with the bottom line being that Reaper's Stand is a great book. I think it's one of the best (quite possibly the #1) MC romance that I've read so far. It's definitely one that I recommend, especially to those readers who favor the MC sub-genre. Finally, just for the record in case I haven't said it yet, I freaking loved it.

Action packed, mature romance that calls upon your own moral code at times. Not your average romance, at times it was gritty...all a testament that Reaper’s Stand is the best offering of the series and Joanna Wylde should be commended for such a bold and exciting MC Club Novel.

The feelings he refuses to admit to reduce him to acting like a 16-year-old adolescent with a crush on the unattainable girl, trying to get her attention. It was downright endearing in a clueless male sort of way.

This was my least favourite installment of the series and considering I was looking forward to Picnic’s book for a long time, I was disappointed. It’s still a good read but I don’t think I’ll be re-reading this book again.

The romance definitely takes a back seat to the action of the story. If you haven’t read the previous books, you might be a little lost, but I don’t think it will negate the overall enjoyment of the book. All the MC guys have a nice chunk of time in action and dialog...

Fantastic addition to the series. Breathless latter half of the book. Smoldering passion. Nice balance between romance and biker worldbuilding.

I could not put Reaper’s Stand down once I started reading it. The ride is bumpy, violent, painful at times, but ultimately one of the most satisfying romances of 2014. It is not for the faint of heart, but should delight fans of MC romance.

If you like MC books, Joanna Wylde is the writer for you! Reaper's Stand is in my opinion the best of the series so far. The hero and heroine are more seasoned and worldly wise. The chemistry between them is rough around the edges but that is characteristic of men in the MC world. A great addition to this gritty, raw series.

London is the perfect fit for Picnic and her inner dialogue cracked me up. I really liked that London was just a hard working woman trying to raise her kid and hoping to find a good man to love her. She did what she had to do, didn’t apologize for it and kicked ass in the process.

Reaper's Stand is the best book in the series. I've always felt that each progressive book was even better than the last (though I've really liked them all), and that's true here. Wylde doesn't follow a formula with her books, and no two books have felt recycled in the slightest.
