Synopsis

A short story based on characters from previous Marliss Melton books.
Connor Donovan devoted his adult life to advancing his career in the FBI, but he lost his wife and marriage in the process. Now the mobster he just incarcerated is out on bond and holding Karen captive in a scheme of revenge. Maybe it's too late to save his marriage, but Connor is bound and determined to save Karen's life, even at the cost of his own. A mature romance.
