The Redemption Series Book 1
Important Author’s Note:
Please note that there are no anti-Catholic sentiments in the Redemption series. The first book in the series, Redemption, takes place in a fictional town in Mississippi. The town is called Lodeston. Aside from Lodeston, Mississippi, the other locations are in Europe. Other than a reference to an abbey and an Abbess at the beginning of the book, there is no link to Catholicism outside of the group of women who masquerade as nuns and an abbess. Their strange moods and actions alert the main character to the fact that they may not be what they seem. They are soon ousted as a secret society, having used the pretense of being a religious institution to hide what they are. They are not Catholic or nuns. There is a plot twist at the beginning of book one that reveals they are part of a society with no affiliation with the Catholic Church. Once it is revealed what they are, there is no Catholic reference for the entire series. This book is also fiction and has no ties to actual towns or institutions.
