Mimi got the job of her dreams, working for a hot, modern marketing firm in New York City. All is well--except for this new intern that won't seem to leave her alone, constantly making fun of her in the office. When she gets pushed too far, she winds up at knife-point in a dark alley, a victim of a totally random crime.

When someone comes to her rescue, she's unable to believe who it is. And when they go back to her apartment, everything changes...

Warning: This 5,500 word story contains an evening of steamy, explicit sex that you won't soon forget!

"So how do you like DigitaLives?"

"It's been good so far. I feel like I'm actually
learning useful stuff. I've interned before where I just had to do stupid shit
all day. You know, making copies and filing and stuff."

"Oh yeah! Me too! I hate that! I had an internship on
campus where I ended up just acting like a janitor. It was supposed to be a
position somehow related to marketing." Mimi laughed, thinking about how
ridiculous it had been.

"It also helps when you work with good people. I really
like working with you and Catherine. Barry, not so much," he said.
"Catherine is really funny for a supervisor."

"Catherine said you liked me. Is that true?"
Shit, had she really blurted that out?

"What if it was?"

Mimi's smile was almost exceeding beyond her face. "I
mean, I don't care one way or another. I just wanted to ask, y'know."

"Yeah, Mimi. I do like you." He looked her
straight in the eyes. "I do." He put his hand on her arm and moved
his head toward hers, approaching for a kiss. She met him in the middle, unable
to resist herself. He gently ran his hands through her hair while he kissed
her. She loved how his hands felt on her. She moved in closer, sending her
tongue into his mouth. He responded with his tongue, tracing along her gum
lines. It tickled her, sending chills up her spine.
