By combining prose and poetry, it is hoped that poetry can be made attractive to those that shun any poets work. The background and reason for the rhyme provides an introduction to a poem or a series of poems.
These verses were written over six decades ago when the author was at the prime of his life, having just completed his teen years. the poems have been essentially unaltered, thus preserving thoughts prevelant at that time.
All the poems were composed after the author left India in 1947. they reflect some of his experiences there, before, during and after the partition of India and Pakistan. Life in Britain during the dreary post world war days is also portrayed in verse
