RIGHTEOUS LIES BOOK 1: DANCING MOON RANCH SERIES -  Grace Templeton thought the child she'd been carrying for seven months was the child of her dead husband. Jack Hansen thought the sperm he'd donated had gone to the wife of his sterile twin. And then they learn that the vials of sperm at the fertility clinic were accidentally switched. The shock sends Grace into early labor, and the only place she can have complete bed rest is at the Dancing Moon Ranch owned by Jack and his twin. But soon, Grace finds herself falling in love with a hard-edged cowboy who appears to want to control every aspect of her life, now that she's carrying his son. But Jack has his reasons. He also has no intention of marrying, and Grace is determined to learn why.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: The incident that is the basis of this story actually happened, and because fertility clinics are not regulated, such mistakes are not uncommon. Even hospitals are not exempt from error. Currently, at a well-known health-science university hospital, a lawsuit involving the implantation of embryos of different races, in the wrong women, is making its way through the legal system. Women react to, and handle, such life-changing mistakes in vastly different ways, as is illustrated in this story. However, Grace Templeton and Jack Hansen, the hero and heroine of "Righteous Lies," as well as all of the other characters in the series, are fictitious.

ABOUT THE SERIES: The Prequel (Justified Deception) and the twelve books in the Dancing Moon Ranch series that follow are intended to be read in sequence as each book moves forward in time, the entire series spanning thirty years and two generations.

An author with Harlequin and Avon-Harper Collins in the past, Patricia Watters lives in a hand-built log house on thirty wooded acres in the hills of Oregon. Although writing romance is her number one love, over the course of her lifetime she's had milk goats and Tennessee Walking horses, built, plumbed and wired three houses, been a professional portrait photographer, and written numerous photo essays for national and international publications. Although she spends most of her time living a life of romance and adventure vicariously through her fictitious characters, she shares the "real" world with her husband, two cats, and a German Shepherd who thinks her sole reason for being on earth is to play ball.
