Synopsis

From Kathleen Valentine, author of the Amazon Top Ten Bestselling horror/psychological thriller, “The Crazy Old Lady In The Attic”, this sampler contains four complete short stories, two essays from her Pennsylvania Dutch cookbook/memoir, plus eight recipes, and more.

This collection introduces readers to a variety of characters of diverse ages, backgrounds, and challenges. From a small town sheriff trying to help a friend stay out of jail to a priest encountering the woman he once loved but was rejected by for the first time in thirty years, Valentine's characters come alive, vibrantly, on these pages. The recipes are all traditional old country Pennsylvania Dutch handed down through the generations in her family.
