Marilyn Levy is a former English teacher who also has a Masters degree in Psychology. Though she has continued working with teenagers in her private practice, she has become a prolific author. Several of her novels, including her last one, Run for Your Life, have been chosen for ALA Best Book awards. In 2001, a film script she wrote about the life of Alma Mahler was released by Paramount Classics. Marilyn Levy lives and works in Santa Monica, California.
