Loren W. Christensen is a Vietnam veteran and retired police officer with 29 years of law enforcement experience. As a martial arts student and teacher since 1965, he has earned a total of 11 black belts in three arts and was inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame in 2011. As a writer, Loren has penned 45 nonfiction books, including over two dozen books on the martial arts, and dozens of magazine articles on a variety of subjects. He has starred in seven instructional martial arts DVDs. Dukkha is his first fiction. He won four national titles and a bronze medal at the 1995 World Wushi Championships.
