Most of the novel is written in stream of consciousness...Mafi also uses strikethrough in the text, crossing out some of Juliet’s thoughts and replacing them with others...The strikethrough is a bit distracting and it’s difficult to care for Juliette when we know so little about her, even if her circumstances are dreadful.Read Full Review of Shatter Me
