Mott the Mystic wants the Panacea, and he intends to use Bhark Lhouldy and Whindy the Brave to get it... and although he has no idea where it is or what it looks like he’s pretty sure he’ll recognise it when he sees it.
Bhark Lhouldy wants the great treasure so he can use it to save the beautiful young Poplar from a fate worse than politics, but he has only one clue and it means returning to the strange and magical Vastgreen Forest... but he does have the backing of a certain enigmatic old fighting cook.
Whindy the Brave wants to go home. I mean, is that really too much to ask? Although if he knew how much Silvershine he had inadvertently absorbed from Meander’s mavenrock and the power it gave him, he might be tempted to stay exactly where he was until it passed through his system. But if he did that, what of the next instalment in their incredulous misadventure...
