    I had expected something else entirely from the ending, and so I was disappointed a little, but it’s worth reading for the exciting murder mystery, and for Vee, who I thought was an excellent main character.

    There was some insta-love between Zane and Vee, which normally doesn't bother me that much, but it seemed odd that Vee, who was very distrustful and withdrawn, would open up so freely to someone she didn't know.
