Slocum had only one destination in mind: follow the sunset. But then, destiny has a way of catching up to folks. Even Slocum. And now he's stuck in the blistering desert with a broken-down stagecoach, a bunch of aimless passengers, and a hungry buzzard flying overhead. But that's just the beginning of his problems. There's something haunting about this place. At night, one of the passengers is suddenly attacked—and killed—by something frighteningly inhuman. Slocum doesn't need a sixth sense to know that a six-gun won't do him a bit of good up against a killer he can't even.
