Note from the author
It was all getting too much - I had a full time job as a chef, three children to feed and not enough hours in the day. I’d bought a Slow Cooker years before but seldom used it, it was easier to pop a ready meal lasagne or pie into the oven. For years it lived at the back of my cupboard.

A friend recommended I try her Slow Baked Herb Chicken recipe. It was so simple – I prepared it one morning, popped it in the slow cooker, and by the time I got home from picking the kids up from school, it was ready and cooked to perfection.

This experience changed the way I viewed my slow cooker so I set about compiling information and recipes of how to get the best out of yours. This book is the result and there are plenty of recipes for you to try.

Trust me, you’ll see how easy it is and wonder why you didn’t use it more before. The expressions on your family and friends’ faces will say it all!

I do hope you enjoy my book. If you do, please share it with your friends and family on Facebook and Twitter.
Sincerely slow,

P.S. and thanks to my friend Rachel for get the ball rolling with her wonderful herbed chicken – I promised I’d mention her!
