When she first saw Mark Jones' pastels, Harriet Ziefert knew she had the perfect manuscript for him, tucked away in a file from many years ago and waiting for the right illustrator. Mark Jones was born in Switzerland, grew up in Florida, and graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a degree in illustration. He has never built a snowman. This is Mark's first picture book.
